Kenneth Edward Ayres (born 15 May 1956) is an English former professional footballer who played in the Football League, as a forward. He started out as an apprentice with Manchester United and received a professional contract at the age of 17 with Manchester United, but left a year later having never played for the first team, and signed for Crystal Palace, where he played six times for the Selhurst Park side in the Third Division during the 1974-75 season, his only Football League appearances. He then played in Iceland for IF Fram Larvik.
