Born on February 3rd, 1990, in Salinas, California, Kayla Compton is most popularly known for her role in the series "The Flash." As a young adult, Kayla attended the University of Central Florida, but her passion for acting and writing took her career in a different direction.
Career
Not many people know this, but Kayla started her career as an actor very recently in 2011. She dipped her toes into the world of acting with her short role as Monica in the television series "Entourage."
The very next year, Kayla scored a role in the television series "Perception." However, she was once again restricted to an indie girl's small role in one episode, which, unfortunately, did not help her gain as much fame as she would have wanted.
Although Kayla's career was slow to start, things began looking up for her as she acquired her next role in the film "King's Faith." Here, she played the character of Natalie Jenkins and was very well received by audiences.
In 2014, Kayla got yet another small role in television series "Mistresses." Here, too, she played a minor part of a salesgirl.
In 2015, she got another small role in the television series "Vanity." However, this was the last time she would play a minor character, as it was her lucky break.
The very next year, in 2016, Kayla landed the role of "Gretchen" in "Chase Champion." This mini-series was her rise to fame as audiences noticed her and began to seek her out, thanks to her gorgeous looks and impeccable acting skills.
Soon after, she started getting some of the most important roles that would eventually bring her to fame as the actor she is now. The very next role she played was "Naomi" in the series "Bro-Dum." Soon after, she got the role of Kara in "Making Moves," Michelle Kester in "Attack of the Killer Donuts," and a character she played under her name in a short film called "The Stanford Letter."

She married Josiah Ruis on January 14th, 2018. However, her fans can follow her and get daily updates on her life by following her on her social media pages. Her husband, Josiah Ruis, is also an actor. They can be seen together in the 2020 film called The Z Girl Next Door (2020) which was written and directed by Kayla Compton.
