Kathura (Hindi: कथुरा) is a large village in Sonipat district in Haryana state, India. It is located 13.2 kilometres (8.2 mi) south east of Gohana on state highway 16-A connecting Gohana and Meham and 50.2 kilometres (31.2 mi) from Sonepat. As of 2011, Kathura has population of 9,639 of which 5,190 are males while 4,449 are females.
