Katanga, Nigeria

Katanga is town in Jigawa State of Nigeria. It is located 17 km away from Kiyawa and 12 km from Dutse. The town has total population of 7000 people lived in.An there are so many sources of income in katanga like farming, rearing of animal and fishing. katanga are among food producers in jigawa state they are producing such like millet,rice,wheat,g cone,beans,groundnut and cassava.

There are several ethnic groups in katanga such as hausa,fulani and kanuri. about 85% population of katanga are hausa 4% fulani and 0.7 kanuri and 0.3 others
