Karl Wotke

Karl Wotke (1 June 1912 in Bratislava, at the time Pressburg – 23 August 1969 in Rhodesia) was a German concentration camp physician and SS-Obersturmfuhrer (SS-Nr. 306,477). From 15 October 1940 until 25 August 1941 he was a camp doctor in the main camp of Auschwitz. Later he was assigned to the medical unit in North Stettin. In 1943, he joined the 6th SS Mountain Division Nord.
