Karl Hotz (29 April 1877 - 20 October 1941) was a German engineer and soldier, Feldkommandant of the Feldgericht of Nantes. He was killed by a commando of the French Resistance made of Gilbert Brustlein, Marcel Bourdarias, and Spartaco Guisco. This led to the arrest and execution of 48 hostages on 22 October 1941, including Guy Moquet and Jean-Pierre Timbaud.
