Kaous (Ancient Greek: Καοῦς, Latin: Caus) was a settlement in ancient Arcadia, a region of the southern part of Greece located on the Peloponnese peninsula. The remains of the ancient settlement have never been discovered. When Pausanias visited the area in the 2nd century AD, it was already ruined. It was situated in the territory of the city Thelpousa, 40 stades (6 km) from Thelpousa and 25 stades (4 km) from the river Arsen (Άρσην). There was a sanctuary of Asclepius.
