Kanuri is the surname to a family which belongs to Andhra Pradesh, India. As per justifies heard from the ancestors it is believed that they hail from a place called "Kavatharam" near Gudivada, Krishna District. Later they have moved and settled across India. A few of the places include Nuzvid, Hyderabad and Vijayawada.
