Kallakurichi is a state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. Located in Viluppuram district, it consists of a portion of Kallakkurichi taluk. It falls under Kallakurichi (Lok Sabha constituency). It was in existence from 1951 to1971 state elections. It was converted into Chinna Salem constituency (Chinnasalem - A rice mill hub of Tamil Nadu) in 1977 election. It came into existence again for 2011 election following the reorganisation of constituencies in 2009.

Kallakurichi (SC) constituency is newly formed after constituency delimitations 2009. It is included in the Kallakurichi Lok Sabha constituency.
