Kaa (Odia: କା) is an 1966 Oriya film directed by Sharada Prasana Nayak under pseudonymity screen name of Siddharth. The film is based on Kahnu Charan Mohanty's award winning literary masterpiece in the same name. The Film glorifies the story of a barren woman, who induced her husband to marry another woman for the sake of a child.

Synopsis
Nandika (Parbati Ghosh) and Sunanda (Gaura Ghosh) are happily lived together with mother-in -law Abhaya (Manimala Devi) and sister-in law Kuni. After seven years of marriage still Nadika is childless. Abhaya always worries about successor of her family. The friends and relatives always blame and offend Nanika for her barrenness. At last Nandika decides to sacrifice and convinces Sunanda to remarry a girl for the sake of a child. With lot of pressure from his mother and wife, Sunanda decides to remarry. Sunanda marries Lalita (Geetarani). After marriage Lalita compels Sunanda not to live with his family and first wife. At last Lalita and Sunanda live saperately from their family. Time passes away and the destiny tells another thing. One day Nandika finds she is pregnant, by knowing this Lalita becomes envious and fears about Sunanda, as he may not returns to Nandika. Nandika dies after giving birth to a child. Lalita understands her fault and adopts Nandika's child as her own child. the family again live happily.
