K. C. Yadav

K. C. Yadav (Kripal Chandra Yadav) is one of several Yadav intellectuals who has written on the topic of the origins of the Indian Yadav-Ahir community. Yadav has associated them with the ancient Abhira tribe, noting inscriptions indicating the Abhira ruled in northern India as early as the second century BCE. Yadav also specialised in the history of Haryana, and served as the editor of the Haryana Research Journal.
