Jørn Tomter (born 1975) is a Norwegian-born photographer living and working in Clapton, London. His documentary-based work has been exhibited throughout London, among others at Victoria & Albert Museum, Notting Hill Arts Club, and Pentagram Gallery, and widely published in international magazines. He has also contributed to STÆRK, a DVD which was part of Creative Review, May issue 2005. The DVD was a production of the Norwegian Embassy in London to promote Norwegian artists in the U.K.

Jørn Tomter first book The Norwegian Way was published by Generation Yacht November 2007. TNW is a five years documentary of the unique end of school celebration in Norway called Russ.

Tomter founded the Scandinavian art collective Beachclub which was promoting Scandinavian photography, art and music in London and co-founded Super Magazine.

Tomter is now working on an extensive photography project to document his neighbourhood in Lower Clapton around Chatsworth Road. The project named I Love Chatsworth Road has so far published two magazines as well as numerous exhibitions.
