George Washington "Jumbo" McGinnis (February 2, 1854 – May 18, 1934) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1882 to 1887.

McGinnis started his career with the St. Louis Brown Stockings of the American Association and was one of their top pitchers. From 1882 to 1884, he pitched over 300 innings and won over 20 games each year. He later played for the Baltimore Orioles and the Cincinnati Red Stockings. He died at the age of 80.
