Jugular Advertising is a New York-based advertising agency, founded in 2006. It has received attention in the national media for work relating to drug rehabilitation programs.

Notable campaigns

A 2006 campaign for an L.A. drug treatment center featured the face of the actor Chris Farley, accompanied by the headline, “It wasn’t all his fault” . (Farley died in 1998 of a drug overdose). Although the campaign had been approved by Farley’s family, it received both criticism and praise, culminating in Farley’s brother defending the ads on CNN.

In 2007, Jugular received attention for a print ad, also for a drug treatment center, that read “Don’t Die Lindsay!” The ad was discussed on The View and Fox News Channel’s Your World with Neil Cavuto. Like the Chris Farley ad, it received mixed reactions.
