Juan Gil Zambrano was a Spanish captain, and government functionary of Ciudad de la Trinidad y puerto de Buenos Aires.

Biography

Born in Spain, he arrival at the port of Buenos Aires in 1609. In the city marries to María Martinez, relative of the Governor Diego Martínez Negron. Juan Gil was appointed Lieutenant Governor and Justiciary by the same Martínez Negron in 1609, and was replaced by Manuel de Frias on June 17, 1610.
