Joys Sebastian is an Indian TV director and producer. He played the leading role in some of the path breaking events in the Indian Television Industry. After serving a short period of four years in the Malayalam film industry his destiny brought him to Delhi. In 1985 he joined Jain Studios as a Chief Director for Political films where he worked for leaders like Sh. Charan Singh, Sh. Rajiv Gandhi, Sh. H. D. Deve Gowda, Sh.Vishwanath Pratap Singh, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sh. Lal Krishna Advani, Sh. Ajit Singh, Sh. Ram Vilas Paswan, Sh. P. V. Narasimha Rao, Sh. Bal Thackeray, Sh. N. T. Rama Rao, Sh. Devi Lal, Sh. Chanderashekher, Sh. Murali Manohar Joshi, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, Sh. Kamal Nath and Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal. He directed many political and medical films for Jain studios. He worked for 5 years in Jain studios and then decided to start something by his own.

In 1991 he started his video magazine called Talash.

After winding up Talash he saw the Television Industry spreading its wings and cable industry flourishing which made him come up with a cable news programme called Delhi Diary Cable News which was both successful and controversial.

In 1994 he was among those people who gifted the nation with its first 24 hrs satellite news channel Jain TV. He then served Asian Television Network International Limited as Sr. V.P - Programming where he executed music based programs.

In 1998 he was appointed as Director, programming by Siti Cable which was one of the largest cable distributor in India.

In 1999 he rejoined and relaunched Jain TV.

By 2004 he designed and executed Delhi's first news channel S1 (Indian television station).

And then in 2006 he saw the booming real estate industry which made him design Space TV a real estate, lifestyle and tourism channel. This is again the first one in its genre.
