Josh Lanyon is the pen-name of Diana Killian, a multi award-winning American writer of male/male mystery, adventure and romance. In addition to numerous short stories, novellas, and novels, Killian as "Josh Lanyon" is the author of the critically acclaimed Adrien English series including The Hell You Say, winner of the 2006 USA Book News Award for Gay/Lesbian Fiction. Killian is an Eppie Award winner, a four-time Lambda Literary Award finalist, and the first recipient of the Goodreads M/M Romance group's Hall of Fame award.

Killian's first novel, Fatal Shadows, was published in 2000 through the now defunct British publisher Gay Men's Press. Since then she has published with a variety of presses, both electronic and print, including Samhain Publishing, Carina Press, Loose Id, Blind Eye Books, JCP Books, MLR Press, Aspen Mountain Press, Liquid Silver Books, and Torquere Press. Josh self-publishes under JustJoshin Publishing, Inc.

Diana Killian is married and currently lives with her husband, author Kevin Burton Smith, in Los Angeles, California.
