Joseph Byron Stannard (February 6, 1872 – February 22, 1952) was an American football coach. He served as the seventh head football coach for the Colgate University and he held that position for the 1899 season. His record at Colgate was 4–5. Before coaching, Stannard played football first at Colgate under Spencer Ford and then at Pennsylvania under George Washington Woodruff.
