Jonathan Alexander is VP Engineering at Vocalocity, a leader in cloud-based business communications. Previously he built and managed software teams at vmSight (acquired by Liquidware Labs), Epiphany, and Radnet (acquired by Epiphany). He studied computer science at UCLA, and began his career writing software for author Michael Crichton.

He is an O'Reilly Media author and his book Codermetrics: Analytics for Improving Software Teams was published by O'Reilly in August 2011.

He is founder and contributor for codermetrics.org which is a community site dedicated to sharing information on the development of advanced metrics and analytics for improving software engineering teams.
