John Martin (4 December 1946 – 16 November 2013) was an English former footballer who played as a Winger in The Football League.

Career
Born in Ashington, Martin made one appearance for Aston Villa before making appearances in the Football League for Colchester United, Southport and Workington, where he made over 200 league appearances
Martin lived in Tenerife from 1997. In 2006, he was diagnosed with cancer. He died in November 2013.
