Johnny King (8 January 1912 — 6 March 1963 (aged 51)) born in Manchester, was an English professional fly/bantam/feather/lightweight boxer of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s who won the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) Northern (England) Area bantamweight title, BBBofC British bantamweight title, and British Empire bantamweight title, and was a challenger for BBBofC British featherweight title against Nel Tarleton, and International Boxing Union (IBU) World bantamweight title against Panama Al Brown, his professional fighting weight varied from 84 lb (38 kg; 6 st 0 lb), i.e. flyweight to 130 lb (59 kg; 9 st 4 lb), i.e. featherweight.
