John Pooley DD was an Anglican bishop in the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
Pooley was born in Ipswich and educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He was appointed a Prebendary of St Michan's in Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin on 23 February 1673 and became Dean of Ossory on 6 March 1674. He was consecrated Bishop of Cloyne on 2 December 1697; and translated to Bishop of Raphoe in 1702.
He died in Dublin on 16 October 1712: there is a memorial font to his memory at Raphoe Cathedral.
