John Parsons (missionary)

John Parsons (died 1869 in Monghyr) was an English Baptist missionary in India and reviser of Carey's Hindustani Bible. He came to India, with his wife, married 1840, to join his brother George. George died shortly thereafter and John Parson's wife returned, permanently, to England in 1842.
