John Forest Ogilvie (born 28 October 1928 in Motherwell) is a Scottish former football player. Ogilvie played for Hibernian, Leicester City and Mansfield Town.

Hibernian

Ogilvie started his senior career when he joined Hibernian from Thornliewood United. He played for Hibs in their most successful era renowned for their front five known as The Famous Five. Such was the success of the team, Ogilvie was a fringe player from his debut in 1848/49 over the next six seasons. He made 35 first team league appearances in that time.

Leicester City

He next played for the Leicester City team of Dave Halliday who were promoted as divisional champions to England's top flight in 1957. Ogilvie's career there spanned four seasons in which me made 82 league appearances in which he scored twice.

Mansfield Town

Ogilvie ended his senior career at Mansfield. In the seasons between 1959 and 1961 he played in 24 first team league games during which he scored once.
