Johan Hjalmar (John) Munsterhjelm (Born: December 11, 1879 in Tuulos -1925) was a Finnish sculptor. He is the son of sculptor Magnus Hjalmar Munsterhjelm, and studied applied arts at the Academy of Art in Berlin also making study tours in Scandinavia, Belgium, France and Italy. He made decorative figurines out of bronze and granite, sculpted a city hall facade in Vaasa (showing Charles IX and the double portrait of the national rulers, Pehr Evind Svinhufvud and Gustaf Mannerheim), a large number of portrait busts of prominent persons and medallions.

He sculpted a bust of Jean Sibelius while living in Berlin in 1909.
