John McInnes (politician)

John McInnes (23 April 1878 – 30 September 1950) was an Australian politician who represented the South Australian House of Assembly seats of West Torrens from 1918 to 1938 and Hindmarsh from 1938 to 1950. He was a member of the Australian Labor Party throughout his career, apart from 1931-34, when he represented the splinter Parliamentary Labor Party. He served as Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1924 to 1926.
