John Markus Lervik (born 17 August 1969) is a Norwegian businessperson.

He is the Founder of Cxense, a company in the ad-platform, search and online analytics space.

He was previously the chief executive of the Norwegian company Fast Search & Transfer ASA, and was Corporate VP of Enterprise Search in Microsoft Corp. Lervik has a Ph.D in the field of tele-engineering from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, of which he was granted the Esso Research Award in 1998.

He was on Forbes E-gang: Masters of Information published in September 2005.

He is a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.

February 10, 2014 he was sentenced to two years in prison for fraud and accounting irregularities. The charges were based on his actions while being CEO at Fast Search & Transfer ASA.
