John James King (January 4, 1947 – October 26, 2010), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, was an American drummer who played with The Steve Miller Band, most notably on the 1973 album The Joker. He had also performed with Elton John and The Beach Boys.
King died on October 26, 2010, in Kingsport, Tennessee, after a short illness.
