John Jefferson Spitznogle Jr. (February 13, 1902 – June 14, 1962) was a two-term mayor of Melbourne, Florida from 1958 to 1962.

He was born February 13, 1902 in Greene County, Pennsylvania, the son of John Jefferson Spitznogle Sr. and Clara Belle Thomas.

He was an electrician, and operated the Spitz Electric Company in Melbourne.

Spitznogle died of a heart attack in Clarksburg, West Virginia while serving as mayor of Melbourne on June 14, 1962.
