John "Jack" Garvey is an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for St. Helens, Broughton Rangers, and Wigan, as a centre, or stand-off/five-eighth, i.e. number 3 or 4, or 6.

Jack Garvey played stand-off/five-eighth in St. Helens' 9-10 defeat by Warrington in the 1932 Lancashire County Cup Final during the 1932–33 season at Central Park, Wigan on Saturday 19 November 1932, and played stand-off/five-eighth in Wigan 10-7 victory over Salford in the 1938 Lancashire County Cup Final during the 1938–39 season at Station Road, Swinton on Saturday 22 October 1938.
