Joe Puerta (born 2 July 1951, California, US) is the bassist/vocalist and co-founder (along with David Pack) of the American rock group Ambrosia. He is credited with co-writing one of their earlier hits, Holdin' On To Yesterday (1975). He was a member of Sheena Easton's band from 1983 to 1985 and later formed Bruce Hornsby and the Range with Hornsby, who was also in Easton's band.

He currently lives in Milwaukee, WI.
