Career
Altounian was born in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Los Angeles, California.
Altounian began his entrepreneurial career in 2000 at real estate firm Creative Environments of Hollywood where he was initially responsible for small residential projects, acquiring and renovating homes in Los Angeles. Altounian now serves as a Development partner at the firm and is tasked with locating and developing various projects for the firm.
Most recently, Altounian and business partner Niall Donnelly announced plans to open the first-ever US Rolling Stone magazine venue at the Hollywood and Highland Complex in Hollywood, CA. Scheduled to open in Summer 2010, Rolling Stone LA is slated to be a multi-level space encompassing more than 10,000 square feet (930 m2) in a blend of equal parts restaurant, bar, lounge and upscale private-event space.
