Joan Freeman (born 1958) is an Irish psychologist and founder of the Pieta House suicide prevention charity. She was nominated to Seanad Éireann in May 2016. She is closely associated with the Catholic hierarchy being a member of the Irish Catholic Bishops Commission on Social Affairs.
