'Weekly Jirga Bannu' (Urdu: ہفت روزہ جرگہ بنوں) was a weekly newspaper published from Bannu district. Its publication continued for two years and then it was discontinued because of financial issues.
Editor
Pakistani columnist Farman Nawaz, was the editor of Jirga Bannu. Farman Nawaz is the editor of the Border Times. Nawaz has written English articles for Global Times China, Daily Outlook Afghanistan and several leading English newspapers of Pakistan. He had also worked as a blogger for Express News TV Network website. Nawaz also runs a local bilingual online newspaper The Bannu Times.
