James Ellis Lindsey (November 16, 1948 – September 9, 1998) was a Canadian football player who played for the Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts. He won the Grey Cup with Calgary in 1971. He played college football at Abilene Christian University.

Lindsey died in Colleyville, Texas on September 9, 1998.
