Jill Murphy (born 1983) is an experienced actress having had her first professional role at the age of 10 - appearing as Cousin Caroline in the highly acclaimed BBC series "Family" directed by Michael Winterbottom. She had her grounding with the Young People's Theatre Group (Anne Kavanagh), moving on to the Dublin Youth Theatre before graduating in 2001 from the Gaiety School of Acting.

She has worked extensively with RTÉ TV where she played three very dramatic and varied roles as Claire in the much lauded "Stardust," the tragic role of the young drug addict Candy in "Fair City" and Mary in the much acclaimed "No Tears" directed by Stephen Burke. She has also appeared on ITV, BBC and Channel 4. Jill also had a major role in Stephen Burke's Feature film "Happy Ever Afters".
