Jhalokati Government Boys High School

Jhalokati Government High School (Bengali: ঝালকাঠি সরকারী উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) is a secondary school in Jhalokati Sadar Upazila, Jhalokati District, Bangladesh. It was established in 1909.

The school was built near the Sugandha River, but river erosion spoiled this historic school, and a new school was later built near the old one in two stories like the shape of the letter "H". The school has a playground, with a square pond in front. There is also a large coconut garden.

Founder

140 years ago in 1872 some awaken and powerful person of thana called Moharajganj build this historic school.

There are two shift at this school. One is morning start 07:30 am. Another is Day shift started at 12:00 pm. The number of students near 2,000.
