Many cities with large Jewish populations, including Paris, London, and Moscow, are missing from the list due to a lack of census figures or other sources of verifiable information.
Jewish population by metropolitan areas
The following table is dominated by American cities. Censuses in many countries do not record religious or ethnic background, leading to a lack of sources on the exact numbers of the Jewish population in several countries.
