Jerome Van Croninsfield Smith (July 20, 1800 – August 21, 1879) was an American politician, serving as the fourteenth mayor of Boston, Massachusetts from 1854 to 1855. In 1834, publishing house Allen and Ticknor published his medical work The Class-Book of Anatomy, Designed for Schools, Explanatory of the First Principles of Human Mechanism, at the Basis of Physical Education.
