Jensens Bøfhus is a Danish steakhouse chain with 49 restaurants all together; 34 in Denmark, 13 in Sweden and one in Germany and Norway. It started in the year of 1984 when Palle Skov Jensen opened the first restaurant which was then called Bøfhus España in Aarhus, Denmark. It was later changed to the current name in 1990 and at that point there were only four restaurants. As of today the chain is still owned by Palle Skov Jensen. The vision of this restaurant is that everyone should afford high quality steak for low prices. The year 2000 was when Jensens Bøfhus started to sell selected new products such as spare ribs, sauces and coleslaw at the retail trade. The main office lies today in the area by Fruens Bøge in Odense, Denmark next to their restaurant by Læssøgade.
Jensens Bøfhus has of today over 2,000 employees and every year the restaurant gets over five million visitors.
