Jeff Gunther (born March 17, 1975 in Colorado Springs, Colorado) is an American entrepreneur, inventor, and technology developer. He currently resides in Charlottesville, Virginia with his wife and daughter. His first company was launched in the dot-com era in Northern Virginia, and his second venture, Meddius, capitalized on the growing need for integration in the healthcare industry before successfully being acquired by Premier, Inc. in October 2013. Gunther now runs Metaform, an invention studio that delivers intellectual property and expertise to Fortune 500 and Global 1000 companies, startups, government agencies and partners.

As an early adopter of ROWE, his approach to employee engagement was covered in Daniel Pink's latest book Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us, a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller. In chapter 4, the book examines Gunther's view on employee autonomy in the context of Meddius.
