Jaurasi is a small hill town in Almora district, Uttrakhand. It is situated at an altitude of around 6000 ft above sea level.

Jaurasi is famous for its scenic natural beauty. The climate is so refreshing that when northern parts of the country are experiencing extreme summer conditions, the climate is cool. Jaurasi is one of the un-developed tourist destinations of Uttrakhand, in spite of having much natural beauty, it is not well known to many tourists.
The nearest town is Chaukhutia (24 km).
