The Japan men's national volleyball team is the volleyball national team of Japan.

Contents

The team has won three Olympic medals, including a gold medal in Munich 1972 and won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964, silver medalist at Mexico 1968. Japan also, the team was third at the 1970 and 1974 World Championships, and tow silver medalist at the 1969 and 1977 World Cup. Japan has been less successful in the World League era.The team has won the Asian Championships and the Asian Games eight times each.
