Jan Howard discography

This article documents the discography of country music singer-songwriter, Jan Howard.

Howard began her recording career in 1958 on a small label. She signed with Challenge Records in 1959, where she released her first hit single, "The One You Slip Around with" in 1959. After signing with Capitol and not having much success, Howard switched to Decca Records in 1965, charting for the first time in two years with "What Makes a Man Wander." The following year, she released the biggest hit of her career, "Evil on Your Mind," which peaked in the Top 5. Howard remained with Decca until 1973, having a string of Top 10 and 20 hit singles. She recorded 11 studio albums as a solo artist and 4 with Bill Anderson. She placed a total of 30 singles on the Billboard Country Chart between 1960 and 1978 under Challenge, Capitol, Decca, GRT, and Con Brio Records.
