James Sheridan (15 May 1882 – 1960) was an Irish footballer who played in the Football League for Everton and Stoke. He also played for the Ireland national football team.

Career

Sheridan played for Cambuslang Hibernian before joining Everton in 1903. He spent two seasons with Everton and joined Stoke in the summer on 1904. He became Stoke's first Ireland international however he only scored one goal for Stoke which came against Wolverhampton Wanderers in December 1904 and left at the end of the 1904–05 season.
