James F. O'Neill III ("Jim") is the President and CEO of Quanta Services Inc and has been since May 2011. He is also a member of the Board of Directors.

Background
O'Neil was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was educated at Tulane University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering in 1980.
Career
Prior to becoming the President and CEO of Quanta Services, O'Neil was the President and COO from October 2008 to May 2011. He was the Senior Vice President of Operations Integration and Audit from December 2002 to October 2008. From August 1999 to December 2002, he was the Vice President of Operations Integration. He joined Quanta Services in 1999. From 1980 to 1999, O'Neil worked with the Halliburton Company. His last job there was as the Director, Global Deepwater Development. O'Neil's first job, when he turned 18, was as a laborer during the summer in a chemical refinery outside of New Orleans between college semesters. The job taught him that he better stay in school in order to have a better future.

O'Neil is on the board of the Houston chapter of the American Red Cross.
Family life
O'Neil is married with four children, ranging from 23 to 4-year-old twins.
