James Joseph Ruf

James Joseph "Joe" Ruf was born March 28, 1935 and died November 10, 2012. He served on the Williamstown, West Virginia Volunteer Fire Department for 60 years from October 1952 until retiring in October 2012. He served as Chief of the department and was also the oldest fireman in West Virginia to have passed the Certified Fireman’s Test at age 66.
