A famous Jain temple is located at Kidanganad, Sultan Bathery town of Kerala. It is said to have been built in the 13th century CE.
The temple is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.
Destruction
In the 18th century, the temple was invaded and used by Tipu Sultan to keep his armory (Battery).
