Jaihind Vayanasala is situated in Puthenthope
History
The Library was established in the year 1946, at the time of the non-violent independence movement in India. The name says it all. Jai- Victory, Hind - India. Proudly remains as the cultural centre of Puthenthope. It is the most important cultural centre in the indian coastal area and a traditional boat race and drama festival are the noticeable events during the christmas period.
== Sections in Library This cultural cenre has been helping to develop communal activities which includes cultural and sports activities during the festival season expecially in christmas time.
