The Jagdish Institute of Industrial Technology was established in May 2006 as a proprietorship Firm, “Bharat Institute of Engineering & Research”, then converted into “Jagdish Institute of Industrial Technology”, a unit of “Jagdish Technocrats & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.”, to cater the needs of students of in and around of Jamshedpur who want to pursue their careers in vocational field with the lowest fee possible.

The institute has been associated with following professional bodies / Universities to impart various technical / management / need based distance education / on site academic programs. The Institute has been ISO 9001:2008 Certified for its Quality Management System.
